From the National Journal's "Congress Divided: 2011 Vote Ratings", we can see the 2011 voting records of Louisiana's senators and congressmen just how Conservative they were.
Sen. David Vitter, R-La., is the sixth most conservative member of the Senate and Sen. Mary Landrieu is ideologically in the middle of the Senate, the 54th most conservative member. (See: "2 Louisiana members among most conservative in Congress, magazine says").
"Rep. Steve Scalise, R-Jefferson, is the 11th most conservative member of the House." id.
Other members of the U.S. House's Conservatism were ranked as: "Rep. Jeff Landry, R-New Iberia, is the 36th most conservative; Rep. John Fleming, R-Minden, is the 84th most conservative; Rep. Charles Boustany, R-Lafayette, is the 99th most conservative, Rep. Bill Cassidy, R-Baton Rouge, is the 150th most conservative, and Rep. Rodney Alexander, R-Quitman, a former Democrat, is the 168th most conservative". id.
"The delegation's lone Democrat, Rep. Cedric Richmond, D-New Orleans, is the 336th most conservative, and the 94th most liberal member of the House." id.
