HOLD UP THE FOREST BURN; ALEXANDRIA HAS A SMOKING ORDIANCE

"The goal this year is to burn 130,000 acres in Kisatchie, according to Ed Bratcher, the U.S. Forest Service Fire, Land and Mineral Team leader." (See: "U.S. Forest Service aims to burn 130,000 acres of Kisatchie National Forest for fire prevention").

I certainly hope that none of that smoke from the fires drifts into Alexandria.

That would violate our new smoking ban ordiance.

Smoke from agriculture and controled forest burns are a bigger problem with air pollution that someone smoking a Winston.
