NOT ALL BUSINESS PEOPLE WANT A REPUBLICAN WIN

"Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney eked out a narrow victory over former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum in the Iowa caucuses Tuesday, winning the first contest for the Republican presidential nomination, the Hawkeye state's Republican party chairman Matt Strawn said early Wednesday morning after a long night with the two candidates in a dead heat." (See: "Iowa caucus results: Mitt Romney beats Rick Santorum by 8 votes").

This morning, on KSYL radio's Talk Back Pre-Show, co-host Fred Rosenfeld had this to say about last night's Iowa caucuses:

FRED ON IOWA (1:15)

I have to disagree with Fred's assertions that most business people want a Republican in the White House.

See here a listing of just some of the businesses and their employees who contributed to the successful election bid of Democrat President Barack Obama (See: "Barack Obama (D) Top Contributors"):

Obviously, Pres. Obama had a lot of business people and voters supporting him because he won.

I would suggest that Fred start listening to businessmen from all over the nation and to some of the common people who vote instead of just his like-minded blue blood friends to get a truer feel of how the entire nation is leaning.

  1. Greg- there is this old bromide that the Republican party is the party if big business and the wealthy and the Democrat party is the party of the working man and the downtrodden. But look at your own chart. Really big business contribute heavily to the Dems and are rewarded heavily for it.-Hell -Goldman Sachs OWNS this administration.
