MORE HYPOCRISY FROM CBP

The rag-sheet known as CenLaBriarPatch is showing its true colors of becoming Cenla's premier gossip site.

Other than posting the latest 9th JDC lawsuits, CBP, as it calls itself, is filled with nothing but gossip and rumors, all untrue, concerning none political members if this community, mostly lawyers and primarily Tommy Davenport, Jr. and myself.

It copies the photos I post on this blog and makes fun of them, while at the same time publishing photos of others which it deems to be funny.

It plots its plans and subverted non-factual information in its password protected posts which cannot be viewed by the general public.

This past weekend, its ringleader, Danny Slayter, wrote that "For those of you who have not heard, “the Tiger” recently got back from some kind of rehab". ("Anonymous Discontent"). He was writing about Tommy Davenport, Jr. who was recently released from Rapides Regional Medical Center for treatment of pneumonia.

Slayter also wrote that "Though some of the authors on this site are anonymous, no one ever fabricated an allegation" and then repeated the lies of Ed Hooper, who has been adjudicated to have been an Internet liar by a court of law, that "though many are convinced that Aymond makes comments on his own posts" which is not true.

Then lo and behold, CBP came up with the neat idea to revive the old, now defunct, Cenla Antics gossip board.

"The “buffoonery board” is our latest effort to maintain an open forum and ensure that every opinion/rumor/bullshit, no matter how stupid, is heard." (See: "The Buffoonery Board"). CBP even admits that it is a gossip board when it wrote that "This “gossip board” is more of an experiment as this is a hybrid blog. (See: "Buffoonery Board"). "Free speech can extend to even anonymous people." id. "We envision that our “buffoonery board” will function in a similar fashion" like Cenla Antics. id.

I knew someone who wanted to post some womanizer rumors about a political candiate on my blog. I refused and told them that I needed 2 different sources of confirmation before I posted it. That person then went and put it on the Cenla Antics.

Anonymous is defined as: "of unknown authorship or origin" and "not named or identified". Most of the comments upon Cenla Antics came to an end when CBP opened up.

The notion of free speech has never included lies. Telling lies about someone is still legally actionable, known as slander and defamation, just like the recent judgment that I obtained against Ed Hooper for the lies he wrote on his ISawThat so-called blog. ("WHY DOESN'T HOOPER REPORT ON HIS OWN CASE?", "EVEN MORE SOUR GRAPES FROM ED HOOPER", and "HOOPER LOSES HIS MOTION FOR A NEW TRIAL"). Although a very small portion of anonymous Internet information can be termed "whistle blowing", the vast majority of it is merely from a coward who is not willing to identify themselves and who want to tell lies to meet their own agendas. It is very similar to most of the contributors to CBP.

So of you want to read and write rumors, innuendo, and outright lies, by all means go to CBP. If, however, you want to read the truth written by somebody who signs their name to their post, me, continue reading this blog. I have never been sued for anything that I have written since 2005 when I began blogging. I am sure that CBP will become very popular with many, but I do not want that same trash on this blog.
