GRADES FOR LOUISIANA'S INFRASTRUCTURE

The American Society of Civil Engineers has issued its "2012 Report Card for Louisiana's Infrastructure" (See: "Our View: Poor report card speaks to quality of life in Louisiana"):

  1. Aviation: C.
  2. Bridges: D-plus.
  3. Dams: B-minus.
  4. Drinking water: D-plus.
  5. Levees: C-minus.
  6. Ports: C-minus.
  7. Roads: D.
  8. Solid waste: C-plus.
  9. Wastewater: C-minus.
Besides our infrastructure being shot to Hell, Gov. Jindal is also slashing the budgets for higher education and medical services.

While at the same time, Gov. Jindal is giving our tax dollars away to lure new businesses into the state, such as the chicken plant in North Louisiana and the already here New Orleans Saints.

Of course big business will have little in the terms of higher education, medical care or infrastructures for its employees.
