THE CITY OF ALEXANDRIA LET THE FULTON HOTEL "ROT"

This morning on KSYL radio, co-host Fred Rosenfeld told us that the City of Alexandria is letting the Alexander Fulton Hotel "atrophy and rot".

Fred was incorrect, however, in saying that the City has spent nothing on the Fulton.

Alexandria Mayor Jacques Roy has spent at the very least $145 thousand on the Fulton, all of the City employees' time and the paperwork that went into his hotels "global deal" and the legal costs associated with the claims of Capital One and the over a dozen liens being currently litigated in bankruptcy court.
