  1. Mr. Aymond,

I am a first time commentator and I live in Baldwin, LA. (Cleco customer) If Cleco Corporation did not violate the legal rights of those minority employess, why are they trying to conceal all it's employees (hopefully) truthful deposition testimonies from the public?

In my opinion, (reading Cleco Corporation employee depositions on this blog site)Cleco Corporation is as guility for discriminationing againist those minority employees as Derrick Todd Lee and O.J. Simpson are for their crimes.

    Thanks for keeping me informed.

  2. Attorney Aymond,

It appears, the plantiffs attorneys quality of work reflects the highest standards of professional excellence and it seems Cleco's legal team is over matched.

  3. CLECO always states their success is made up of 3 key components. Taking care of the customer, taking care of good working employees and improving share holder value. Obviously, they are one for three.

They have screwed over the citizens of Alexandria and they are screwing over minorities in the work place. If they are not careful the shareholders will be next.

I think the plaintiffs are doing a good job in keeping the local public informed. I would suggest you step it up a notch and increase your reader/viewership. I would put it out on Wall Street. I would also notify their institutional investors. Start with the "Merry Christmas Letter". Shake things up.

  4. As a Cleco Corporation employee, I have to ask the question most of us dare to ask publicly? Why is Wade Hoefling and Jeff Hall still employed with Cleco Corporation.

Both have led our company to this dreadful situation. Hoefling's poor legal management strategies and lack of labor law knowledge is going to cost our company millions of dollars when we loose this matter to a jury.

Hall's, complete lack of knowledge in evaluating options and his inability (afraid) to provide consequences to those employees who discriminiate against minority employees will also help them win millions in a jury trial.

    Fire them now, Bruce!

  5. After just reading Bruce Williamson's "Christmas Letter" to those black employees, how can we as employees trust his judgement; we can not!

Cleco Board of Directors should FIRE Bruce!

  7. Prior to this lawsuit being filed, most if not all minority Cleco employees had the up most respect for Mr. Jeff Hall.

Many of us talk after work hours, and we agree Hall is as much the problem as our human resources management former leaders (Taylor and Melecheon)when it comes to equal opportunity for all employees.

    So sad but true
